Waxing
AWaxing must be completed at least 24 hours prior to tanning. This will give your pores time to close and ensure your skin is ready to receive the spray tan.
S
Exfoliating
AExfoliating must be done 6-24 hours prior to tanning. Exfoliating your skin not only removes dead skin cells, it also clears your body of any dirt or debris that could block your spray tan from adhering to your skin.
S
Moisturising
AMoisturise your body regularly in the week leading up to your spray tan. This will ensure your skin is in the best possible condition to receive your tan. Please be careful to target all dry areas including elbows, hands, ankles and feet.
S
Clear Skin
AYour skin must be free of any perfumes, deodorants, makeup or moisturisers on the day of your appointment. Anything applied to your skin before your spray tan may alter the expected result.

It’s important to avoid using any products that contain Sodium Laureth Sulphate, mineral oils or fragrances prior to your appointment. Shower directly before your appointment to remove any beauty products that may be left on the skin.

S
Hair
AYou must avoid washing your hair before your appointment. If your hair has been washed directly before your appointment you may end up with streaks or uneven areas.
S
Cothing
ACome to your appointment dressed in loose, dark clothing. Avoid wearing satin, silk, leather or lycra directly after the application of your tan.

Post-Tan Prep

S
Rinse
ARinse off your tan with warm water only (no soap or shower gels) for the first wash. Gently brush over your body to ensure the bronzer is removed evenly.
S
Dry
ASoftly pat dry your body with a towel after each shower.
S
Moisturise
AOnly moisturise your body after your second wash. This will allow the tan to continue to develop to its full depth. This generally takes around 16-24 hours. Avoid using any moisturisers or products that contain Glycolic Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Sodium Laureth Sulphate and mineral oils as these ingredients increase exfoliation and will accelerate the process of fading your tan.
S
Pools, Spa’s & Excessive Heat
AAvoid chlorinated pools, spas and excessive heat sources such saunas, especially within the first 24 hours while the bronzer is still setting. Exposing your tan to any of these will accelerate the fading process.
S
Waxing & Shaving
AAvoid waxing and shaving directly following a spray tan. These actions remove the top layer of your skin which will affect the outcome of your tan.
S
Clothing
AAvoid wearing tightly fitted clothing for the first 16-24 hours after your spray tan.
S
Sunscreen
ATanning solutions do not contain SPF so please apply sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun’s harmful rays.
S
Hydrate
AAside from keeping your skin moisturised on the outside, it’s just as important to stay hydrated on the inside. Two Litres of water a day will do wonders for the longevity of your tan!
